99th Infantry, National Color Presented by William S. Cobb. Nicknamed the "Lincoln Legion", the 99th was composed of men from Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Schuylkill counties. It began forming in August 1861 but was not complete until February 1862. The regiment was presented the national color in March 1864, however, nothing more is documented about this flag. The 99th was mustered out of service on July 1, 1865.
